Howdy Ho, Perlerinoes! Did I get your attention? Great!
The upcoming meeting (Jan 26th) will be about the web. Of course, "the web" is a very generic statement. What I mean is something a bit less generic, called "web programming". There is already a talk submitted on "The Web Stack", by Ilan, a Python programmer who is digging the Perl crowd. Yes, we're diggable! :) Anyway, we're still missing a talk! I know this is a short term notice, and I do apologize for that, but we still need a talk. If you don't want me to give it (because, well, who does?), then now it's the time to step up to the plate. I was thinking mainly about Catalyst but anything else goes (except, at least now, Dancer and Mojolicious, who were featured relatively recently). You can give an extreme talk (about a very advance usage) or a light talk about a few lessons you've learned from web programming. Like I said, feel free. Let me know if you feel like submitting such a talk. We would all appreciate it! :) Also, we're still interested in short talks, about random subjects. This means a minute or two, or five, or ten, about modules, ideas, thoughts, algorithms, lessons learned, etc. You can either contact me about it or just step up at the meeting! Thanks, Sawyer.
