What can I tell you, you are right! RTFM! But hey, be honest, how often are
you following your own rule? And the worst thing is that mostly (yes, yes,
not always) you get away without RTFM.

should have learned from this:

 

Reads the "CAVEATS" section in the perldoc for modules that you use, as in:
