Hi all. On this thread:
http://www.whatsup.org.il/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=6947 there are a few comments, questions requests regarding the Israeli Perl Workshop. Tudmotu says that he'll be happy if there will be a talk comparing the contemporary popular dynamic languages (he'll take Ruby, Python and JavaScript) to Perl, especially considering OOP, with a focus on Moose pros & cons. An anonymous penguin asks if the workshop will also be suitable for those who don't have prior experience with Perl (and I don't know for sure). Tzahi says that he'd like to hear what Perl can do in the world of Enterprise software. He mentions Java and JBoss and J2EE and says that these are the popular things, and that they are using Frameworks. He also says standards are very important there.
