Looking at
http://www.cpantesters.org/distro/F/File-MimeInfo.html#File-MimeInfo-0.15 it 
seems that it always fails on perl-5.14.x, so it seems like you're not alone in 
this. File-MimeInfo-Magic 
was last released in 2008 and there were no other CPAN releases from the author
since. However, reading
http://blogs.perl.org/users/joel_berger/2011/12/a-zoidberg-story.html , it 
appears that he's still alive, just moved on to concentrate on a different 
project. So he might give comaint for it so this bug can be fixed.
