Just check that the converter itself has a Europlug and not a Schuko plug. :) Otherwise it will be mostly useless in Israel. There are many converters on ebay that are wrongly advertised as "for Europe", but in fact have pins of 4.8 mm diameter that is larger than the Europlug 1990 standard (4 mm). In Israel power sockets accept round pins of 4-4.5 mm, but usually do not handle Schuko without breaking.
