There are many people who learned Perl by themselves and were raised on the already existing code in the company.
They already have a lot of bad practices when they come to my Perl training class. I think the problem is both that there are trainers out there who don't care, but also that many companies don't even try to get their employees to write good code. For many people Perl is only a secondary tool. Just as they don't have time to learn how to use vim, or how to work primarily with the keyboard, they don't have the time to care about their Perl code. regards Gabor -- Gabor Szabo http://szabgab.com/ Perl Training in Israel http://www.pti.co.il/ _______________________________________________ Perl mailing list [email protected] http://mail.perl.org.il/mailman/listinfo/perl
