Folks,

The problems some people had with editing the PDL documentation wiki
at:

http://wiki.jach.hawaii.edu/pdl_wiki-bin/wiki

apparently are due to the proxy/firewalling configurations at our
site. So I have removed the requirement for authentication - if
somebody out there has nothing better to do that vandalise the PDL
wiki, we can always undo the changes or revisit the secuity issue.

If anybody wants to use that wiki space for other PDL related stuff
like organising releases, you are welcome.

Finally, I am expecting to be away from a computer for a few weeks and
need to find a backup moderator for the PDL lists. I can provide
somebody from my workplace who is not a member if nobody steps
forward, but it is better if it is somebody who subcribes so they can
keep an eye on any spam leakage.

Any volunteers? I should warn you that these lists are heavily
targeted and we have no site-wide mail filtering, so it does involve
either clearing stuff out from the hold pile every day or being faced
with a mountain of spam after a few days.

Aloha,

        Frossie
