Here are the results of a quick scan through the most common
readme and informational files in the current PDL-2.4.4-pre-1
(a.k.a. PDL-2.4.3_01):
Release_Notes: need to add 2.4.4 notes
Doc/README: is this current/still correct?
Example/Benchmark/README: does this example still run?
Graphics/PLplot/README: need to check, this refs PLplot 5.1.0 and 5.2.0
Graphics/TriD/README: out of date, need to update or remove
IO/HDF/README: just has 'PDL::HDF' in it (update/remove?)
IO/HDF/SD/README: just has 'PDL::HDF' in it (update/remove?)
IO/HDF/VS/README: just has 'PDL::HDF' in it (update/remove?)
IO/Pnm/converters/README: is this still current/correct?
cygwin/README: need to update for PDL-2.4.4 status (check PLplot)
win32/Readme: this appears to be very out of date, it needs to be
updated for PDL-2.4.4 which has better support
for win32 builds. Also need to add information on
where to get the best PDL ppms from (other than
the default ActiveState locations.
