OpenGL-0.58 has been released to PAUSE and should be

at a CPAN mirror near you shortly. Highlights of this
release:

(1) An official release that is being targeted by the
   PDL::Graphics::TriD refactoring.  Please give it
a try and let me know of any build problems.

(2) sf.net recently enabled multiple repository support
for projects so I have stood up the latest git of
the Perl OpenGL development. For read-only access:

     git clone git://pdl.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/pdl/pogl

This should make it possible for folks to participate
(or just explore) the latest and greatest OpenGL
   development.

(3) This release is under the CHM pause id to enable
automated testing for future developers releases
of the Perl OpenGL module. That has worked well
so far for PDL by making the latest working git
version available for download via CPAN and getting
more regression testing done by CPAN Testers. It
   should show up at

     http://search.cpan.org/~chm/

(4) I expect some additional tweaks to balance the
final development work on the PDL+POGL migration
but that will be in the form of developers
releases to both PDL and POGL until PDL-2.4.5
   is released this Fall.

Enjoy!
