None that I'm aware of.  It would be a great contribution to the
documentation, however, and I would be willing to help out if you could make
it a publicly-accessible project.  A great place to put such a project is on
the Wiki, which you can find
here<https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/pdl/index.php?title=Main_Page>.
If we get a pretty good document going, we could then submit a pod file to
the PDL distribution.  I recommend creating a new link off the main page
under 'Contents' entitled something like 'PDL for Matlab users' or something
like that.  To get onto the wiki editing team, contact Derek as described on
