Very few of you visit the irc channel, but you might be interested to know
that there is a bot that sits on the channel named piddlebot. Piddlebot's
job is to look up functions and modules and generate links to the online
documentation when you ask, kinda like pdldoc. I just recently taught
piddlebot how to construct urls for the new website.

The important difference between piddlebot and pdldoc is that it's on irc,
which means that if you can't seem to find a good search term, others may be
able to chime in. It also means that if you are on irc and somebody says,
"How do I sort on the second column of the third dimension?", you can just
say, "piddlebot whereis xchg qsortvec" and then explain how to use those
tools.
