Hi Chris:  I would appreciate not making Devel::REPL a hard dependency for 
PDL just yet.  I've got a large software system built with PDL which I 
maintain RPMs for all the PDL dependencies.  Adding a raft of new 
dependencies, even pure perl, would mess me up in the short term.
