I have one hesitation: Might we have taken the infinity idea too far?
I find it difficult to see the "p" and the "d". I'm not confident that
a regular user would see them.

Can someone produce a version of this logo without any whites at all?
Even better: Show me how I can do it with Inkscape. I'd like to see
it. As a quick test, I typed "pdl>" with Radis Sans and I found it
much easier to read.
