Hello,

I have a proposal to improve PDL's documentation.

Get rid of the following wiki pages:

* Everything under "Installing PDL the quick and easy way"

https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/pdl/index.php?title=Installing_PDL_the_quick_and_easy_way

These pages are all outdated. The wiki doesn't even show any history
for any of them. No history at all. They are all years out of date -
nobody is updating them. Look, I just learned 5 minutes ago that Matt
actually has a Mac OS binary for PDL 2.4.6, uploaded to SourceForge
only two months ago, yet the wiki is pointing to a version from
another website that is 3 years old.

The only installation page that is updated is the "manual install"
page. It was last updated 6 months ago. So we'll keep that one. All
other pages should be nuked. In turn, they should be replaced by a
single install page with updated and correct information, located on
the main site. Something like this:

http://pdl.perl.org/future/?page=install

Except that this page doesn't yet have all the instructions. But what
I want to do is put the instructions, except for "manual install",
directly on this page. Then I want to get rid of all the never-updated
pages which will do nothing but lead users astray, toward poor
information and old releases of PDL.

Does anyone know how I can delete a page on Mediawiki?

Daniel.
