Thanks Matt, for the edits. Nice cleaning up. I have just made a major update to the PDL installation instructions, and *have* brought cpanm back. As you will see from the current version of the instructions, I make heavy use of cpanm. Since it made my life super easy (I will never go back to cpan), I believe other folks would also benefit from using cpanm.
