In any open source project I can think of that offers both binary and source option, the source option is the least prominent, acknowledging the fact that most users want the binary install. It doesn't have to be buried in the Manual Install page. I can accept putting it on the Get PDL page, but I think it should be at the bottom. Something like this: * Mac OS X: [ instructions ] * Windows: [ instructions ] * Ubuntu: [ instructions ] * Fedora: [ instructions ] * Source: [ ... ] You have to consider: (1) Most users want the binary install.
