Duh .... sorry for not reading the instructions that you posted. The Grab-1 and Grab-2 windows, which I can twiddle, don't contain any image (hope that's to be expected ... I have my doubts), but grab1.png and grab2.png look fine and as expected. My PDL version is 2.4.7.
