Hi Andres, I think the stuff I just posted to help update the web install docs will help you, I have put the PGPLOT installation instructions there as well. I would recommend not doing the manual install and going the easier rpm package manager route, though if you want and follow the manual instructions I gave it will work just the same.
Does OpenSUSE use RPM and YUM? If so then just install the RPM Fusion repos and do yum install pgplot-devel, then make sure as Chris said install the Perl PGPLOT binding from CPAN with cpan PGPLOT and then finally cpan PDL. hth, Leandro
