Hey folks -

I've run across a few really neat Perlish webish things lately that I
felt the need to share. First, if you want to compose a quick CPAN
search link, use p3rl.org. That's right, replace the e in perl with a
3. For example, a link to the latest CPAN PDL page is p3rl.org/PDL. A
link to Inline::Pdlpp would be p3rl.org/Inline::Pdlpp.

Second, there's a Summer of Code project called MetaCPAN. I'm not sure
how much use I'll get from it, but one of the cool features is a
GitHub-like activity indicator for authors and distributions. Here's a
