Hello everyone, I am soliciting a little help, and while it isn't strictly PDL (yet, though a PDL backend is planned) this seems to be the place to find Perl-loving scientists. I have developed my new Math::GSLx::ODEIV2 to expose the new GSL ODE solver (new as of GSL v1.15) in a Perl-ish way. I am writing to solicit comments and especially any useful test cases that people might think of, people with more experience; for example how can I test rk2 vs rkck? Luckily the GSL library is well tested so this isn't a huge deal.
The only catch is you need GSL v 1.15 (not in Ubuntu until the next release) so most people will have to roll it by hand. Thanks, and I look forward to any comments! Joel Berger UIC Dept. of Physics [email protected] [email protected]
