Hi,
there is a dialog that appears in front of the grwin windows with caption
'perl' and a button labeled 'close' every time.
It seems to come directly from the dev command.
Hope we are talking of the same thing.
Yes, gwin is the device driver I was referring to.

Hi all,
I am starting to use PDL for my work.
I have a trivial question about the PGPLOT graphic device on Windows. Is it
possible to suppless the "Close" dialog?
I assume you are referring to the grwin driver.
That has been a problem for me too. Maybe
others can post a solution.
If you need another interactive plot option,
you could try using PDL::Graphics::PLplot
which is available from a PPM package site
(see the windows install information at
http://pdl.perl.org for details).
Otherwise, the PDL-2.4.11 release is planned
to include a number of new graphics options
for PDL.
