say "git clone git://pdl.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/pdl/pdl-book"

that that will create a folder called pdl-book in your current directory
and pull the current contents into that folder. Then, I believe the script "
makebook.pl" should generate the HTML pages.

Note, these contents are not going into a wiki. That was never the
intention, as far as I was aware.
