the PDL-2.4.11 release will be even more
substantial and, I hope, distributed
via CPAN.
Having the book should be a big help to any
new or prospective PDL users.
I know finding the original "Scientific
Programming with PDL" text explained a
lot of the PDL nuances for me---and the
new book is the same, just on steroids:
more complete and with better tested and
illustrated examples. :-)
