Hi, the perl is activestate 5.14.2. The pdl is 2.4.10, latest available on ppm and NetCDF is 4.13 latest available on ppm. Is there some direct link to a version of NetCDF working with the current PDL? Thanks

Updating the PPM's copy might fix this. In general, more information about your configuration would help a lot in diagnosing the situation. The following would be helpful: 1) Perl version and flavor (ActiveState, Strawberry, etc). 2) PDL version, i.e. the output of pdl -v. If this were a bug report we'd need pdl -V, but that's really verbose and may not be necessary, yet.
