A couple of thoughts:
- try using hold3d
- use OpenGL to directly implement the graphics

A clean up of the high level 3D graphics
interface for PDL is planned (eventually).
Current work on 64bit index support and
OpenGL 2.x and higher API support in POGL
is underway.

Hello,

I have been thinking about some new functionality
and wonder if it might be possible to have both
point3d and spheres3d both in the same TriD
screen, I would like to use the sphere3d for
atoms and the points3d for electrons, is there any way
to do this with out core diving...

let me know your thoughts,
