As far as I can tell, Perl6 and Parrot have not been embraced by the PDL community. However, one of the Google Summer of Code projects is a set of Parrot bindings for LAPACK. I am very interested to see where these go, especially because it could provide a clear path for incorporating C functions into Perl6, which would be a requirement for serious numerical work.
