I'll dig about a bit and see what needs to be changed in order that the
Prima build process create a libPrima.a instead of a Prima.a.
I've submitted a (Prima) bug report about this:

It includes a patch to the Prima-1.34 Makefile.PL that fixes the problem (by
building a "libPrima.a" instead of "Prima.a").
