All- To keep the PDL stable release up to date with the current git developments and to enable ActivePerl PPM builds of a current PDL release, I propose a quick turn-around, bug fix type release of PDL in February.
Since I know there are a number of developments underway that should be finished real soon now, I propose this schedule: 14-31 Jan 2013 -- Final Development Phase - bug fixes - new functionality - nothing too risky though :-) 01-15 Feb 2013 -- Release Shake-Out Phase - verify release via CPAN developers releases - update docs - update demos - update book 16-28 Feb 2013 -- Release PDL-2.4.12! The idea is a 2-3 week push to wrap up all those amazing PDL developments or pesky bugs and get something nice out the door for the new year. As always discussion and feedback welcome! --Chris (Putting on his release manager's hat) _______________________________________________ Perldl mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.jach.hawaii.edu/mailman/listinfo/perldl
