They are also looking for BioPerl related stuff, I am sure that anything scientific would be interesting. I think the deadlines are either close or past, but it won't hurt to try. If you submit something, and it gets rejected for being past a deadline let me know. I can at least talk to the people I know involved in the planning to see if they'd let it slide.
