The Github is an un-official mirror administered by David Mertens and I,
with the express purpose of demonstrating the feasibility of moving. He and
I feel that Github is a superior platform for community involvement and so
we wanted to make it as easy to move as possible, should the PDL Porters
decide to move.

Until that point it remains unofficial, but "supported" by volunteers.
