The procedure for PDL installation on Debian is failing due to a need to rebuild libpgplot against perl 5.18<http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=721320>. I've contacted Carlo Segre <[email protected]> and he says he doesn't have time to spend on it and is not sure when he will. It has been in this condition for some time.
