That'd be great.  Even if 1.0 doesn't happen this year, much better to
have a 0.15 rather than nothing at all.  I'd certainly like to see
more people trying out my recent changes before we start thinking of a
stable release ...

I notice doc/release-checklist is slightly out of date, incidentally.
