Does anyone on the list have experience using heat treatments for pest
eradication on or near art? Have you controlled the humidity during the
process? Have you used the Thermo Lignum system?

I work at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and we are considering our options
for the design of a freezer system for treating art. We are debating having
heat treatment as a 2nd option and would like to hear from anyone with
experience using heat to treat art or even non-art, like pallets and crates.

I've seen the information that is available on museumpests.net already, so no
need to reiterate the potential risks to art, speed of the process, or
literature covering temperatures and durations needed. I'm interested in
hearing about your experience with the process, whether humidity was
controlled, what temperatures you tend to use, whether damage was observed, and
whether the treatments were successful in extinguishing all phases of life.
Essentially, if you would be willing to discuss your process and experience
with me or the group, I would be grateful.

Thank you kindly,
Eric Breitung
