IPM humor is priceless. I think they make a larger trap for when they try to
infest your house, eat all your stored food products and campout in your living
room in the same exoskeleton for days on end. But then I have yet to have one
in my house to that age.

Laughs are important and I needed it today!

Jeez I hope they don’t spread to the west coast!

[Thank you both for the humor this morning!]

It’s a common pantry pest. Nymphs will consume any foodstuffs you store in a
building. They also exhibit aggregating behavior within several years. The
resulting swarms of nymphs have been known to participate in physical displays
of dominance which can lead to collateral damage of art and fine furniture.
Eventually, with luck, they nest elsewhere, but expect to find their shed outer
layers in your laundry room periodically for some time afterward.

Dear all,

I found this in a trap yesterday; whatever it is, I sure hope there isn't an
infestation.
