Just a house centipede. A predator, but not of people ☺ Anything in large
numbers dying within a space whether in a trap or not can provide food for
other pests, especially dermestids.

Subject: [pestlist] Insect Identification

Hello All,

What is this insect and what does it eat? It is quite scary looking, so I'm
wondering if I have to be afraid of it. I've found a few, so I'm wondering if
this is an insect that I need to monitor.

Sincerely,
