I know shrivel of eggs after treatment with controlled atmospheres (Anoxia). So I can imagine that freezing does the same. Attached are three photos of eggs (we're assuming) that we found on a textile after being frozen. It's storage room is generally very low-level for pests (slim to none) but a webbing clothes moth was found in the base of its storage rack recently so everything was frozen then closely inspected. That's how we found these eggs. I've found a few images and videos of webbing clothes moth eggs, and they seem to have a different shape. Also, the shadow/form inside of the egg in the second image looks like it's perhaps a nymph and not a larvae? Any ideas as to what these could be eggs from? Also, does freezing shrivel eggs/warp them in anyway? We're wondering if the egg forms have been altered in the freezing process. Thank you, everyone.
