I have a delicate situation that I’m grappling with and I wonder if this list serve could help. We are potentially receiving a large art object (vehicular) that has been outside for 10 years. Various parties are concerned about pests and discussions of fumigation, heat treatment, etc have started. I have gotten the current owners to place blunder traps to see what we catch. Does anyone know where I can get confirmation on NY State laws regarding fumigation with poison. Heat treatment has been suggested and I’m concerned about the mixed media components of the work.
