Hello Adam there are no pheromone lures for any woodboring insects worldwide available from my view. In the past there were just one for Anobium punctatum and still one for Hylotrupes bajulus in Austria.
I would seal the object and put just some normal glue traps for crawling insects inside. If there will hatch some powder post beetles, you could control the traps and sealing floor. In your room you could use a UV light trap with glue board, to contro powderpost beetles, who are attracted to light. I have a wooden object returning to my institution and unfortunately due to its wax coating I am hesitant to freeze it in fear of damaging the wax. The second option I am considering is to seal the object for 60 days in a 4mil poly bag and monitor activity. I would like to include a lure, if possible, during this process Any other ideas or recommendations are greatly appreciated.
