Susie,

Springtails feed on microscopic molds on wood or other organic materials
in areas that have extremely high moisture. If you can eliminate the
moisture issue with repair or fans, the springtails should disappear.

Subject: [pestlist] Springtails

We are having an outbreak of springtails. I have been working with our
Risk Management Department and we have had the nest sprayed. However, I
just checked our traps and either we didn't get the nest, or it has
moved. The springtails are around our collection objects and are
drawing in beetles (probably to eat them).

Does anyone have any idea of the most effective way to get rid of them?

Thanks,

Susie
