The black one is a black carpet beetle.  The striped one is an elm leaf beetle.  Don't worry about the striped one, but the black one means there's a quality source of some sort of animal protein indoors - perhaps a mouse or bird carcass or a large accumulation of dead insects in the attic.  It could possibly be associated with a protein-based exhibit or artifact, but it's doubtful.

Hey guys,
 
I was hoping to get an ID on these two insects. To me, the specimen with the black and white stripes resembles a Flea beetle, but I’m not sure if that’s a correct ID. The black specimen could be any number of ground beetles that wander in and expire on the floor. Just playing it safe and making sure I don’t have a collections problem on my hands.
