There are concerns of anoxia affecting red pigments, I wouldn't use it for red 
leather bounded books.

In our Library we use a schedule of thorough visual inspection and freezing 
only those items we are concerned about.

Sealing your items in appropriate plastic bags and allowing to come to room 
temperature inside the bag after the treatment should avoid damage by 
moisture/condensation.

For historic books with leather or writings with natural colors its better with 
freezing or anoxia (nitrogen).
We had a bigger library here in south-germany who moved 2010-2011 with 4000 
packing cases and we used nitrogen in big tentings.
