If there are droppings (fecal pellets), the infestations would be drywood 
termites as compared to mud tubes on walls which are indicators of the presence 
of subterranean termites. the thickness of the mud tubes will vary depending on 
the species.

Pictures of the infestation will be of help in the identification.

Dear All,
 
do anyone know a local expert or pest control company for a holiday resort in 
Bali (Indonesia), who could help the owner (he´s german from munich), who has 
actually problems with Termites. 
If drywood or other kind of termites, I don´t know about the details.
