I just purchased an HP Pavillion dv6338se and have installed Kubuntu
6.10AMD64 from DVD. My current issue is that I am unable to get my
wireless
card working. It is a Broadcom 4311 and I have tried using ndiswrapper and
currently trying bcm43xx-fwcutter AMD64 (1:006-1 - from the unstable
repository) and it automatically installed wl_apsta.o. eth1 shows up but it
will not connect to anything. The following is what I picked up from
/var/log/syslog:

Any suggesions? I would like to be able to get the wireless working so that
I can get updates. The only way that I am able to get anything on here is
by hooking the laptop through the wired network that is providing dial-up
via another laptop...
