Fine by me. Can someone come pick them up and get them to More
solutions?

I have no problem having them here for playing with, but we have had hardware "donated" in this way before that has never been used and is taking up space, with us left in the awkward position that we can't really get rid of it because it's not ours, and in any case we are required to dispose of such hardware through proper recycling facilities and this ends up costing us.

(Can anyone remember who donated the giant Compaq server?)

I'd be a lot happier with this if someone else is able to provide a home for them between meetings, or at least if we have a plan for what to do with them while we have them and what to do with them when we're finished with them. The problem with a lot of this kit is that even if we could find someone who wants to take it off our hands, unless they're local shipping it costs more than its worth to them.

Apologies to anyone who's seen our workshop and come to the natural conclusion that it is a graveyard for old hardware - it isn't supposed to be that way!
