Hi,

My name is Andy, and I dabble a bit with Linux both at work and at home.

At work, we use RedHat Enterprise 5.1 to host some Oracle databases. My
main job is looking after all the Windows servers, LAN etc...
At home, I have a Debian box hosing my website. Its nothing fancy, but
it does the job. <http://andys.dyn-o-saur.com>. I also use Ubuntu on my
Desktop alongside Vista.

Yesterday, I got given one of these from work.
<http://linitx.com/viewproduct.php?prodid=10267> Inside it, it has 4
independent CV860A motherboards with Via C3 800Mhz CPU, 512MB or 256MB
Ram and a Compact flash card (128Mb or 512Mb)on the IDE bus. It can also
take 2.5" and 3.5" IDE hard disks and CD-ROMs etc. Also has 3 LAN sockets

My question is what small Linux distribution can I put on the 512MB
Compact Flash card that can happily run a LAMP setup. The database and
HTML pages can be stored on a 2.5" HDD if it needs the speed, or even on
a 2Gb USB stick. I only get about 10 visits a day so doesn’t need to be
ultra fast. Unfortunately, the motherboard only supports USB 1.

Andy
