Before I bore everyone with a lengthy account of the problem I'm having,
can anyone tell me if they have had any experience with using GPS
devices with Ubuntu?
Briefly, my difficulty is in getting a Garmin Vista HCx to connect with
the Viking GPS manager software via a USB connection.
Very frustrating, as both the Vista GPS and the Viking application are
excellent. Getting them to communicate is a headache!
