This is probably bad to keep _only_ the latest (you have no backup if your kernel gets hosed). ------ true, though I am mainly interested in keeping them off the menu and could use a bootable CD to edit GRUB if a fix was required - GRUB command line may also be adequate for a rescue. I found a limit options entry in menu.lst that looks promising.
