Sorry for the confusion. (It really isn't a good advert for PLUG!)

Most of the meetings in the past couple of years have been held in my
company's workshop (Belgic Sq, Fengate). That arrangement started when
the previous venue became unavailable and was one of those temporary
arrangements that kinda "stuck". However, over the past few months my
own availability has been limited by work, and at the same time
Middleton School was looking for some support starting a project using
Linux Terminal Server, and meetings made a temporary move there which
has similarly become kinda permanent as long as we're welcome (except at
school holidays when the school is not surprisingly shut).

So the upshot of the conversation on the list is that I've confirmed I'm
not available next Tuesday (and therefore our workshop isn't), and Andy
has confirmed that the school is available, so the meeting will be there.

I believe that the meeting will be at 7:30pm, at Middleton School in
Bretton (PE3 9XJ).

Your earlier enquiry wasn't so much as ignored but not answered because
I suspect nobody really knew the answer....

Bear with us, we'll get more organised, we're in something of a
transitional period. In the meantime however we're all still pretty
helpful on the mailing list and you (and any other newcomers) will be
very welcome at the meetings wherever they are.

As a general rule: If you want to take your own hardware you can,
although if you need some hardware from the host let them know (eg if
you want to bring a desktop PC and want to borrow a keyboard or monitor
for the night) so they can say whether or not they can help.

The 50p for tea/coffee/biscuits is basically to avoid the host being out
of pocket from providing those things.

The format of the meetings is usually informal "chat" and support for
any problems people bring along. More formal presentations have been
arranged in the past and it would be good to do that on occassions in
the future, it just needs volunteers to do it and/or suggestions for topics.

Hope all that helps. And I personally would like to thank you for your
persistence, many a lesser person would have given up long ago!
