No - not little men in matchbox cars. Drivers for my Lilliput touchscreen.
I did a quick search and found a list of drivers for Lilliput 7" Touchscreen Here: http://www.lilliput.com.cn/en/service02.php Two questions: Now bearing in mind I'm doing an install of Xubuntu I'm guessing my best bet would be the Ubuntu6.06 Tar. Correct me if I'm wrong in this. My other question is: What do I do next? If it Were windows then it's simple. Usually a case of just downloading, double clicking, swearing, uninstalling, going to the hardware profile, going to the bit about drivers and trying 3 different ways of manually pointing to the drivers. Then possibly repeating the process around 5 times until it inexplicably works. With Linux everything I look up wiffles on about tarballs (yes I know it's a form of data compression but I think I need to use the CLI to uncompress it...) and often contains scary references to recompiling the Kernel. So basically I'm asking to have my hand held because I really haven't done much in Linux before. Just to warn you this is a rather atypical Linux installation I'll be doing (as in it won't be a standard desktop) so I may ask questions in the future as well but I'll try and get on with online stuff before I bother anyone with the group about it.
