they work fairly well, especially if plugged into wall sockets and not extensions or multiway strips. I've only used the slow ones ( "14M" ) for extending broadband connections, and they're OK. If you have a Radio Ham next door you might want to research the interference aspect of Homeplugs - try searching for homeplug interference on youtube for example.
